Customs formalities :
The customs procedures are particulary easy and fast in Singapore.

2 documents are necessary:

  • An invoice with the CIF value (photocopies allowed)
  • Description of the shipment -Packing list (photocopies allowed)

Goods and services tax (GST) of 5% (since the 1st of Jannuary, 2004) is levied on all goods imported into Singapore. The taxable value is based on the CIF cost.
There are no duties levied on products in Singapore, except for Tobacco, Alcohol, and vehicles. (All details available upon request)
